The Nalu Way
It’s different because it’s about YOU.
Physical Therapy that brings balance back to your body.
Nalu PT is high integrity, attentive professional skilled care. Direct one-on-one with me, Dr. Matt Dancigers, PT DPT OCS Cert-DN.
Nalu means wave. The wave represents life with it’s ups, downs, power, surges, ebbs, flows, doldrums, beauty, danger, support, joy and energy. I respect that our lives are full of these things and Nalu PT is formed with this in mind.
One of my main goals is for you to understand your injury, your body, your pain, your recovery concepts, your recovery timeline and your expectations. Then we used our informed approach to return you back to yourself. I’m not interested in “doing rehab “, I’m interested in getting you back to where you want to be.
Sessions are patient focused. I believe interaction is as important as intervention in health care. We know that being present is part of getting recovery right, and that is our model. Nalu provides an eclectic approach of science based techniques and protocols packaged in a outcomes-focused wholistic mindful rehab arc.
The science of healing and the art of caring.
I have worked with individuals preparing for BUDS, grandmothers with dizziness, the Norfolk Admirals, moms, active gym going older adults, high school sports athletes, truck drivers, lawyers, and anyone in between.
I have trained in modern techniques, mobility flow, spinal manipulation and therapeutic dry needling, myofascial and deep tissue techniques, multi-modal approaches, biopsychosocial frameworks, progression concepts, pain philosophy, strength and conditioning, barbell and kettlebell training, therapeutic neuroscience education.
I am Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Licensed and experienced.
I’m like you, I’m passionate about life and all it’s possibilities. I train, run, swim, lift, surf, play, hike, live. I was born, raised and schooled here, spent some time in San Diego and now am here to serve you and your recovery needs. Let’s go!
